Array of 12
Drawing on a RISD course I took focused on the blues and American literature, I was inspired to highlight the women of blues with a series of motion graphics.
Because the number 12 is so prevalent in the blues, I selected 12 female blues artists and chose 12 songs, one by each artist. I took key parts of each song and combined them into one longer audio form. I also made the animation 12x12, like the dimensions of a record album.
